1. Lead CNC Machine Technician (Cabinetry) - Homag Specialist

The role of the Machine Technician/Operator is to be at the forefront of manufacturing all of our products. Through sharp attention to detail and a diligent hands-on approach, the successful candidate will continue to ensure our standards are met in all aspects of production.
What you’ll do:
- Work in a highly automated clean and safe working environment
- Master the interface of our Robotic Storage Yard and Nesting CNC to optimize flow Other machines include: Beam Saw, Hot-Air Edgebander, Vertical CNC.
- Take direction from the Lead Hand to meet weekly production goals
- Maintain and carry out set machine maintenance schedules
- Quality Control of all products at all times during the production process
- Refine and improve upon existing machine operational functions for increased productivity/efficiency
- Bring forward suggestions for operational improvements relating to machining procedures
- Work with the team when all hands on deck required
- Adhere to local safety standards within our industry
Compensation
$21-$30 /hour per experience based on a 40-hour work week
What we’re looking for:
Cabinetmaker or Apprentices
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cabinet manufacturing plant
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mid Level computer skills - primarily Windows operating systems
- Experience operating panel processing machinery preferred, however, training will be provided
- Proficient in Google Suite - specifically Gmail, Sheets and Google Chat
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Self-motivated team player who thrives in a technologically advanced environment
- Have effective interpersonal communications with coworkers and staff
- Must be able to effectively communicate in the English language, both in writing and verbally
- Occasional heavy lifting supported by ergonomic assists (pallet jacks/rolling carts)
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, stoop, reach upward, bend, lift, and withstand various types of repetitive motion inherent in the various tasks to be performed
- Must be able to effectively communicate in the English language, both in writing and verbally
Bonus points for:
- Previous experience with Homag machines
